Enjoying Spring With A Good Mail Day

DH finally mowed on the first week of this month as wildflowers (particularly dandelions) are conquering our lawn. Here are a couple of wildflower photos from our backyard. I couldn't resist not staring at them after working in the garden, so might as well take a some shots.

Carolyn, Jodi's mom, surprised me with a walnut bird thread holder. It is of course one of lovely handworks of Max. Check out their website for the complete selection of neeedlework accessories made from walnut. Thank you very very much Carolyn.

I also recieved my recent copy of SANQ magazine the same day I got the thread holder, on May 4th. It was indeed a good mail day!
My needles are still flying high... lots of stitching works that needs to be done. Write later!

I love the image of the dandelions. We've spent most of my childhood in various parts of USA that sometimes it hurt to see those beautiful images. We don't get that kind of beauty (well other kind but I want those).
