Some Stash and V1826 Materials

V1826 materials
GAST & Dinky Dyes
Here's my materials for the V1826 that I'll gonna SAL with NNC friends: 25 ct. black evenweave linen, and various hand-dyed cotton & silk threads. Hope I can catch-up with them as most had started theirs already, I think a couple got over 50% accomplishments. The second photo are more OD floss/threads I'm considering for the above project. I'm not done picking-up the light color ones yet, but will work it on soon.
Stash from Lynne Herzberg
I recieved some wonderful stash in the mail yesterday. Lynne Herzberg surprised me with "oh so yummy" antique/y stuffs. I don't know how she knows that I'm such a button junkie, and I must say, they're all perfect for my taste. I wish my camera can capture the beauty of them all. She also included a fabulous stork scissors (which is different from my other collections... yes, I do collect fancy scissors too... lol), and antique inspired metal (gold and silver) beads. These will be perfect as weights on the tail for the "stitch counters" or "thread picker" I'm working on. She also sent some fabric stash, in which I'll use some of those for finishing her 4 lovely blackwork smalls. Unfortunately, I won't be able to share those photos yet... gotta wait till their publication at TGOSM.:) Lynne, thank you so much for the wonderful stash!

And last but not the least, are my recent online purchases! 5 kinds of Rachel & Rachelette Specialty Threads from Caron (10 pieces each kind). This I must say was a spur-of-the-moment purchases... lol Have you ever experienced that? Frankly, I don't even know yet what project I'll gonna use them for but I'm pretty sure they'll be great for surface embroidery. These threads are so lovely and I can't wait to use them. Some ideas popped-up while looking at them yesterday so don't forget to come back to check out a finish piece.

Rachel & Rachelette from Caron Threads

Well my dears, I better get ready as me and hubby will go at JoAnn's, Hobby Lobby, and Quilting Connection in a little bit. I will surely haul some stash from those stores today... lol

My dear Deb, thanks so much for featuring me in your blog. I will tag 7 blogger friends later when I get back, plus of course, will post 7 weird or random facts about me. Btw, love the facts you posted about yourself.:)
