CONTEST 1: GIVE THANKS

I run across this post on Elisa's blog (on her August 2008 entries) and got me interested so here it is. Since I added "FeedJIT Live Traffic", I became aware where my visitors are from. But like me, not all visitors leave a comment. As one of my recent goals, I'll try to leave a comment on new blogs I visit, but I must admit it's a huge task for me... lol though I know it would be nice to say hello. So who reads my blog?
WHO ARE YOU AND HOW DID YOU FIND ME?
1. As a comment on this post, leave one memory that you and I had together. It doesn’t matter if you know me a little or a lot, anything you remember! And if we’ve never met in real life, leave me a comment of your favorite post I wrote and why it was your favorite.

2. Next, re-post these instructions on your blog and see how many people leave a memory about you. It’s actually really funny to see the responses. If you leave a memory about me, I’ll assume you’re playing the game and I’ll come to your blog and leave one about you.

3. Do you read my posts from a reader, blogroll or is this your first visit?

To make this post extra interesting as a tribute to the spirit of Thanksgiving, I encourage you to leave a comment on this post until November 26th, 2008 for a chance to win a "3 pieces sewing accessories set" plus a stork scissors and surprise stash. It doesn't matter what part of the globe you're from, everybody is welcome to participate... once you leave a comment following the instructions above, you're in! The winner will be drawn at random by my husband and will announce by me here on Thanksgiving Day, November 27th, 2008. I will then ship your winning prizes on December 5th, 2008. This is just my first blogstitching related contest, more surprises will come in the near future!

Contest name is GIVE THANKS... So come on fellow fabric and finger stabbers... and non-stitchers too, let's make a MEMORY!

UPDATE: If you will post this contest in your blog, please let me know so your name will be entered twice. i.e. Wendy & Paul mentioned this contest in their blogs therefore I will put their names twice in the raffle.:)

Dear Lody,
I remember the times when I had only you for company at the group's site! It was great having the chance to say 'Hi' 'Morning' and 'Goodnit' and having you all to myself!

Hey Lody!
I could remember how DH and you meet and how extra excited were both of you when you started Timber Creek. With that said you had all of us at the group excited and really happy for you.

Can't wait till you show off your next finish. XXX Shanny

Hi Lody!

Okay... possibly the first "lurker" to actually drop and comment. :)

I have to say that I first popped onto your site from a link on someone else's page, I'm sure, but what caught my eye that first time was your 9 patch pincushion. I just thought it was the cutest thing. I've been popping in and out ever since to watch what you make next. Keep up the great work!

Hi Lody,

I remember that we had a funny morbid discussion about your attic and the wind blowing away all your stash lol

I remember you wrote about your special 7-layers salad and I asked for the recipe. You promptly responded.

Lody! The one thing I truly remember from your early blog was the TURBO speed you finish your lovely works of art!

Gonna give Wendy and Paul a tough fight!

Hi Lody,
This is my first visit to your blog.
I followed the link you gave on Stitchers Showcase because I wanted to see more of your lovely work and here I am.
My memory of you is that you said you were going to dream about the bag I made. I thought that was so funny :)
I think I am going to enjoy your memory contest.
Now to explore the rest of your blog and website.
