Wrapping Up January 2008

As January 2008 comes to an end, I wanna share more medallions I stitched yesterday(3) and this afternoon (4). I was about to finished the 3 pcs I stitched yesterday but I was still in the mood to stitch so my needles end up smoking hot again. I will make matching fobs as I plan to finish them into biscornu, needlekeeps, matress-style pincushion, tin-topper, and maybe another stitcher's wallet or clutch. The red medallions are, again, from Needleprint (Jacqueline Holdsworth) & Erica Uten's Token of Love... part of historical needleworks by schoolgirls of Ackworth School. The quaker heart was designed by Tricia Nguyen while the last one was a motif extracted from one of Yvonne's (Papillon Creations) designs, which of course I modified to fit into my liking. All of the 7 medallions were stitched on a 5.25" square 28 count linen (white and ecru).

The 3rd photo was a pop-up needlekeep with attached pinkeep that I stitched and finished right away when I run across Yvonne's site late last week... and of course, I had to make a matching mini-biscornu fob. I also started stitching a matching scissors case but I'm not sure when it will be finished... lol A lot of times, I get destructed by lots of pretty designs that I tend to stop stitching my model pieces.

Oh well, I better get back to my finishing works now while waiting for my hair to get dry... I'm hoping I can finish at least 2 tonight before I go to bed.:) Have a good night everybody!
